About Us

Engineers Without Borders

is a non-profit humanitarian organization that partners with developing communities worldwide in order to improve their quality of life through the implementation of environmentally and economically sustainable engineering projects.

The Chicagoland Professional Chapter

is a group of local professional engineers that works with engineering students in the Chicagoland region to plan, finance, oversee and implement forward-thinking engineering projects in disadvantaged communities. The close relationship between engineering professionals and students ensures quality in design and implementation while developing the next generation of internationally responsible engineering students. Partner Communities

are vital to every project’s success. EWB works closely with community leaders and local organizations to ensure that those who will benefit from each project are part of the process. Instead of working for a community, EWB works with them to help solve their unique engineering needs.
